We assemble furniture so you don’t have to.

Why Choose Us?

In simple terms we aim to be the best

We started in 2004 and have often innovated in the industry and have done a number of things to set us apart from our competition.

1) Training and Development

All of our assemblers are trained initially using the badge system operated by www.Flatpack.org.uk.

The badge below links to our page on their website which verifies we have meet this standard.

Once they have completed the training and our vetting process, we gently lead them into our company with small simple jobs to build their experience of the way we work and our expectations. On bigger more complicated jobs one of our senior assemblers will lead them through how to do the work properly. We will never send someone out who does not know what they are doing.

We split each item into one of 8 levels of difficulty. All assemblers start at level one and only when they have completed so many satisfactory hours of assembly time with us do they move up to more difficult work.

The training provided by www.Flatpack.org.uk covers all the legal issues an assembler should know including the requirements of several British Standards in relation to domestic furniture. A lack of knowledge in this area could lead to furniture being installed incorrectly, amd unfortunately this can  lead to serious injury and death.

2) Clear and Transparent Pricing

Your quote is broken down and will clearly explain how we have come to the fixed price.

3) No Hidden Extras / Attaching to the Wall

We do not sneakily add on extra charges. These are only circumstances where we will not charge you the price you have quoted.

  1. We have to pay for parking, a congestion charge or have to pay a toll to get to you, because there is no other way (this does not include standard tolls like the Mersey Tunnel, Blackwall Tunnel etc).
  2. You ask us on the day to build extra or fewer items.
  3. The items we build are not the items we quoted for.
  4. We charge for attaching/mounting items to the wall. Sometimes in our opinion an item must be attached to the wall, in this case it will be included in the quote. For other items where the customer has discretion we will advise based on the British Standard for Stability BS ISO 7171. You can find out more here.

4) The Job Cycle

Our Job Cycle is a straightforward well thought out process, which takes you from your initial enquiry, to a quote, then a booking, then we do the job, we request payment before finally sending you our customer feedback form.

At each stage we introduce the information we think is necessary so you are not overwhelmed with information.

  1. Your Initial Enquiry: We need to know exactly which product(s) you need assembling, so please include the supplier and part nos or internet links for each item. You can often just copy and paste this from your online shopping cart or email receipt.
  2. Your Quote: We will look up your products in our extensive database (over 20,000 items) to provide you with a fixed price quote. It is clear and itemised so you can see how we have worked out the price. We also include what information we need from you to make a booking. The quote is also provided with a link to a page on this site showing how we work if you have any further questions. See Link Here.
  3. Making a Booking: Once you have sent us your details and preferred dates, we will do our utmost to meet your needs.
    1. You will receive two emails off us. The first is a quick summary of your appointment date and time, and how and when to pay. The second is a formal summary of the job we have agreed to do, a summary of our terms, cancellation, complaints, payment etc. see here
    2. We do not offer fixed times, but instead we offer a one hour window of when we are due to arrive. This flexibility helps us on the day ensure that we arrive when expected. If you are not at the address where the work is to be done, you can request a "Ring on Approach", in this case we will text you about 20 minutes before we are due to arrive.
  4. The Job: We will arrive when we say we will, do the job to the highest standard we can and leave your address tidily. Unfortunately due to the paper work with the legislation regarding the removal of waste, it would be very expensive for us to do this for you (over £100). Most customers can put the waste packaging out with their normal household waste or take it to a local recycling centre, free of charge. Council's will often collect for much less than £100 as well.
  5. Payment: Payment is simple and straightforward. We limit the methods to cash or online bank transfer, because we can take these two payments without incurring costs.
  6. Feedback: We email every customer our customer feedback form, so you can let us know what you think, and how we can improve our service.

5) Complaints

We also have a full complaints procedure should you have any problems with our service. You can find outmore about this from a link in our quote or a link in our confirmaiton email sent to you when you book, or by clicking here

6) 12 Month Guarantee

If you have any problem at all within one month of assembly we will return to sort it out for you free of charge (this happens frm time to time). After that we will return to fix anything which is a result of inadequate assembly within 12 months of the original job date (this has only happend once since 2004). After this period it is usually not possible to tell whether damage is as a result of wear and tear, product fault or inadequate assembly without a considerable amount of investigation.

7) Testimonials & Feedback

All our testimonials are from genuine customers who have completed our feedback form and they are great! We have been sending out online feedback forms since 2013. Prior to this we used a third party company called 365 to conduct a survey for us each year and the results were very similar.
