Ikea Besta - Wall and TV Systems

The Besta system is a modular system like the Ikea Pax Wardrobe System but not as sopisticated. However it is impressive when built properly and give plenty of storage and with a wide variety of comteporary and colourful finishes can look fabulous.
Ikea sell the Besta system in lots of packages and also all the parts individually so that you can customise it to your own tastes.
Whatever combination you buy we will need a full list of evertything you have bought. Either copy and paste your receipt or inventory and send this to us when you fill in the form below, or fill in the form below and when you ge thte automated reply, please send us the photo of your receipt. We will also need an idea of how it is to go together, ie how many units are to be hanged on the wall to price it properly.
Here are some not so obvious points to consider:
- In Sweden they do not generally have skirting boards, and this causes a problem with this range as it has been designed without consideration for skirtin gboards. You can purchase feet which add 11cm to the height of the base units. If this will clear your skirting board then fine. If not then you will need to remove your skirting board, accept that some units will sit further back than the floor units or mount everything on the wall just above your skirting board.
- If your wall is especially uneven this will make the job more difficult and might add cost or prevent a perfect alignment and finish.
- You cannot cut these units down at all. They are made from a frame coating in hardbaord panels. If you cut them at all, the unit will be dramatically weakened. You must not assume you can just cut a peice out to get around a pipe, duct, trunking etc.
- Each unit comes with one or more shelves and these are usually sufficient, please check before buying additional shelves.
- The standard wall fittings supplied are not always sufficient to get a neat result, we mount them using wooden batons for greater accuracy or you can purchase the rail system.
- For TV systems and Hi-Fi speakers etc, please consider how the all the cables will need to run. We do not know what you have and will do our best but you need to think about this.

- We will then ask you to give us 3 dates when you want us to come.
